Allison Pregler Bio
Allison Pregler reviews Z-grade films generally horror or martial arts. Similar to The Cinema Snob in that she likes action-oriented films that are dumb. Her reviews started at the end of 2009 and, following her rise to fame (under the name of Obscurus Lupa, which was previously used) Allison Pregler subsequently became part of Channel Awesome's family. The site was up and running until the early days of the year 2015 when Obscurus Lupa Presents changed its name into Movie Nights. The host hosts two podcasts on the channel. Both focus on the Charmed series and are co-hosted by Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Videos of her show can be viewed here as well as here. Her Twitter account, Tumblr page and Facebook accounts also feature videos. Do you want to be as good as Allison? It's possible to see her kick her thighs on the screen as Interpol Ninja Cheetah Lee in Ninja the Mission Force. Brad Jones' Jesus Bro! was her debut film. Brad Jones has had her appear as a guest in several episodes of his series Midnight Screenings. She reviews horrible films aimed at children, or RiffTrax shows, as well sometimes adult-oriented films (including Baywatch (2017)). In 2009, after reviewing films her name was a hit on Channel Awesome's forums. After joining the official team consisting of Channel Awesome reviewers, she became popular. She has appeared on a variety of Channel Awesome programs, from Atop the Fourth Wall and Phelous & the Movies to Atop the Fourth Wall. She has been a part the team of Channel Awesome along with Doug Walker.
